Congress NO Pay and the Shutdown
Should the President "doc" the pay of Congress?
Don't you think they would work a little more efficiently if they had some skin in the game?
I think we should not be satisfied with just withholding their pay till the crisis is over, they should not be paid for this time period.
It is not that they are just scrapping by...
Congress pay is
3.3 - 3.6 times the average Americans...see details below.
We should do this is cases when they can't get the job done they were elected to do.
Also the government workers who are not at fault should not be paying the price.
Right now we hope they will at least handle the debt ceiling but who knows.
